Sharjah Art Foundation - March Meeting 2012

Organized by the Sharjah Art Foundation, UAE, March Meeting is an annual gathering of artists, art professionals and institutions concerned with the production and dissemination of art in the region and internationally. Now in its fifth year, March Meeting 2012 will thematically explore the present realties, future outlook and dynamics between artists and institutions in the context of artistic commissions and residencies.

Sharjah Art Foundation invites proposals for talks and presentations based on an individual or institutional response to the theme. The Foundation is particularly interested in hearing about work in or related to the MENASA (Middle East, North Africa and South Asia) region.

Speakers will be selected to either give a presentation or participate in a moderated panel discussion. All selected speakers will receive the following benefits:
- Hotel accommodation (March 16-20, 2012)
- Return airfare
- Meals and transportation to conference and related events
