NSK Passport Holders. 2007/2008
Installation

In 1992, together with Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) an art movement from Slovenia, the artist group Irwin founded the NSK State in Time. As an ongoing communication project, it presents a utopian state which "does not exist in real, three-dimensional space and has no physical territory; it's only territory is the dimension of Time". www.nskstate.com

In Taipei, Irwin operates an NSK passport office for locals and migrants, and asks those that accept the passport, why they choose to do so.
