Maid in Malaysia. 2008 Photographic series of portraits of maids in Malaysia performing as different female cultural icons such as Florence Nightingale, Jeannie, Mary Poppins, Madonna, Supergirl, Virgin Mary, Lara Croft etc. Although expected to perform miracles, the maids (mostly from the Philippines and Indonesia) are usually underpaid, often even enslaved and abused.
