In Love for the Mood. 2009
Video installation Ming Wong casts the same Caucasian actress in the roles of the two star-crossed lovers, originally played by Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung, in Wong Kar Wai's meditation on unfulfilled love set in Hong Kong in the 60s, In the Mood for Love (2000). Attempting to intone in Cantonese, the actress plays the female protagonist rehearsing for a confrontation with her spouse about his infidelity.
