Things Are The Way They Are. 2009
Intervention in the patio’s fountain and the museum's halls Rubens Mano uses a microphone to capture the steady metallic tinkle of water from the jet at the centre of the patio’s fountain. Several cameras take images of a second courtyard at the back of the Museo de Bellas Artes - which is closed to the public and was painted by Romero de Torres. Sound and images are transmitted live into the exhibition rooms of the two museums using monitors and earphones.
