Festival de la Luz 2010

In August and early September 2010, the 16th edition of the Festival de la Luz took place. The Festival of Light is an international event realized every two years in different places of the country for the promotion of photography and arts in Argentina. Under the title Identidades en Tránsito, the festival explored aspects of Migration in more than 100 exhibitions.

During our visit to Buenos Aires, we still managed to see and document two of them:

>> Identidades en Tránsito
Photographic works by 45 artists in the former "La Prensa" building. Curators: Silvia Mangialardi and Tony Valdez

>> Cicatrices
Espacio Itaú Cultural. Photographs by 9 participants. Curators: Elda Harrington and Silvia Mangialardi.
