Photos of power line masts along the new motorway that connects Amman to industrial sites on the Red Sea. The pylons will "loom up in the entrance area of the House of World Cultures like a kind of forest and vary with the light and shadow from morning to afternoon", thereby "retracing the topography of the rugged mountainous countryside and its now eradicated memories of the Arab uprisings of 1918".
