Anti Corruption, 2004
Installation at "Rotten"

Artists from the Gelaran Budaya collective (Yogyakarta) interact with the piece, which had words written on hundreds of green and yellow talismans, abhorring the corruption of human integrity.

The theme of the 5-artist show, FU, is the Chinese character meaning to rot (or rotten), which suggests natural decay, corrosion, and also corruptions of thoughts and characters. It also implies the ending of something old and followed by commencing with something new, hence stimulating the artist to search for new possibilities and new definitions.
