According to the artist, the visitor is to "walk in the dark through a narrow and almost mysterious corridor". In Bonn, this idea was spoiled by illuminating the corridor. More on this in the text.

Through a side window, one sees the projection of a light box for eyesight tests and at the same time hears letters of the alphabet being read aloud continuously and monotonously.
