Chobi Mela V
Call for submissions
April 2008

Chobi Mela V will be launched on the 6th November 2008. The theme of the festival is "Freedom". Photo practitioners are invited to submit work on the theme, and encouraged to explore the boundaries of their medium.

Last date for submissions is 31 May 2008. Participants will be notified by email on 21 June 2008. Participants will be able to continue working, but will need to submit prints or camera ready artwork or high resolution digital files suitable for printing, by 21 July 2008.

Apart from the group exhibitions where work from a number of countries will be included, collective works from other countries are also welcome, some work has already been commissioned for the festival. Photographers, whether they be fine artists, documentary photographers, or from any other field of photography can participate individually or in groups. Non-photographic work that has a direct relevance to the theme of the festival may also be acceptable.

Product Demonstrations

Display/Sales stalls
