RADIOapartment22 live from Gwangju

R22 is the first independent Internet radio program for the arts, based in Morocco.

Initiated in 2007, and launched in 2008, it is directed by Abdellah Karroum, founder of L'appartement 22 art space in Rabat, and realized together with the artist Pascal Sémur.

"I imagine this project as a voice of L'appartement 22, and a larger space for expression and sharing knowledge about art," says Abdellah Karroum.

The R22 has been invited by artistic director Okwui Enwezor to contribute to the 7th Gwangju Biennale 2008.

Live program from the Biennale will be on R22 from 1 - 9 September 2008, including dialogues with artists, curators, visitors.
