Contained Measures of Tangible Memories. 2009 The work, which is moved from one place to another throughout the exhibition, examines five natural elements (mica, black soap, cassia fistula, indigo dye, and alum) purchased in Morocco that are used in an alternate way in Nkanga’s hometown in Nigeria.
