A Metre Perspective
Exhibition by Matahati and Friends

Ahmad Fuad Osman

House of Matahati (HOM) presents "A Metre Perspective", a group exhibition featuring works by both emerging and established Malaysian artists, who were invited to create artworks measuring one metre by one metre, through which the principles of creativity as a triumph of the imagination over limitation is highlighted.

Given that most participating artists are inclined towards creating artworks on a larger scale, the exhibition is meant to provide a refreshing perspective into the diverse range of artistic skills. It calls for a reevaluation of art making, a chance to consider the possibility of creating maximum poetic effect in the restriction of space.

Participating Artists:

Jalaini Abu Hassan
Ahmad Fuad Osman
Bayu Utomo Radjikin
Ahmad Shukri Mohammad
Hamir Soib
