Young people running hectically here and there, a loud confusion of voices: Fikret Atay’s video follows the daily lessons of religious training in a Turkish school and the learning process, which consists of loudly singing and reciting while walking around. The pupils pay no attention to each other; each remains in his own world. The whole thing produces a mysterious, somewhat threatening cacophony – just as, when fleetingly heard, the title "Theorists" sounds like "Terrorists".
