9th Bamako Encounters 2011
Call for Submissions
January 2011

The organizers of the 9th Bamako Encounters, which will take place from 1 November 2011 to 1 January 2012 in Bamako, Mali, call for submissions from photographers and video artists from the African continent, regardless of where they reside.

This year’s theme of the The Pan-African Exhibition is "For a Sustainable World". African photographers and video artists are invited to present works, to conduct an inventory, to report their findings, to bear witness or denounce, but also to identify acts of prevention, signs of resistance or hope For a sustainable world.
